Our Winches

Since the end of 2006 we run  a powerful winch equipped with a MAN engine (422 hp) and double drums, 4.5 mm steel cables, providing launches up top 400m above ground, quite sufficient to find a thermal in nearlyevery condition all throughout the flying day.

After the first climb, and through such mountains as the Blachere (1240 m), the Jalinier (1460m), the Malaup (1650 m), and world famous mountains as the Rocher d'Authon, and the Mur d'Auribeau will easily take you to the higher Alp mountains.

 

The second winch, "Oldman", was bought in winter 2017/2018 in Germany for security reasons. We appreciate that solid and easy engineering.
